Precision Cutting

Precise, consistent parts - every time.

Cutting Services & Processes

We operate a state-of-the-art metal processing center that expertly cuts and shapes small and large amounts of sheet, plate, round, and rectangle bar stock into custom-cut components. Our use of sophisticated cutting technologies, combined with a highly skilled team, ensures the delivery of high-quality, custom-made metal parts that perfectly fit client specifications and production demands.

We have a unique collection of contour cutting equipment, including a vertical router, lasers, plasma, waterjet, and CNC punches. This gives us a number of ways to cut your part, allowing us to focus on price, accuracy, finished edge, or combination of these, depending on your needs. From a single cut to thousands of cuts, we cut metals to your exact specifications.

Clean Edges, Fast Results

Shear Cutting

An efficient method for cutting straight lines in sheet metal and other materials. Shear cutting uses a powerful, straight blade to slice through materials with precision, resulting in clean, burr-free edges. This process is ideal for producing parts quickly and accurately, with minimal material waste.

Precision Angles and Cuts

Saw Cutting & Mitering

Perfect for creating accurate, angled cuts in a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, and wood. Saw cutting involves using a high-speed blade to make straight or angled cuts, while mitering focuses on precise, angled cuts for joints and corners. This process ensures clean, exact cuts that meet stringent specifications, making it ideal for projects requiring high levels of accuracy and repeatability.

Customized Precision for Any Project

Laser Cutting

Laser cutting is a highly precise and efficient method that can handle a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, wood, leather, and cardboard. The process involves using a high-powered laser directed by CNC machines to cut intricate and complex designs with exceptional accuracy. Benefits of laser cutting include precision, control over the cutting process, the ability to cut thick materials, and repeatability. We deliver customer satisfaction through a range of metal fabrication methods tailored to specific project needs.

Laser cut tolerances can range from ±0.004 inches to ±0.008 inches, depending on material type and thickness.

Dynamic Precision for All Industries

Waterjet Cutting

An advanced technology that compensates for stream lag and taper, providing highly accurate and efficient cuts. This method is versatile, capable of cutting a wide range of materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, and stone, without generating heat. Dynamic waterjet cutting uses pressurized water mixed with an abrasive to achieve clean, precise cuts. ESMW serves various industries such as automotive, glass, plastic, pharmaceutical, food processing, arts, and architecture.

CNC Punching

A versatile and cost-effective method for creating precise holes and cut-out designs in materials like metal, rubber, and plastics. CNC punching is ideal for producing perforated shapes, countersinks, louvers, embossments, and extrusions with high accuracy and repeatability. It is generally more economical than laser cutting, especially for large quantities, due to reduced material waste. The process involves using a computer to program the punching machine, ensuring precise and consistent results. ESMW leverages over 70 years of experience to deliver high-quality, competitively priced CNC punching services tailored to various industries.

High-Quality Parts, Precisely Made

Machining

Advanced machining services ideal for producing complex parts and prototypes. Machining uses a rotary cutter to drill into materials, precisely shaping parts and removing excess material. This method is particularly effective for cutting through thick metals and making modifications to pre-fabricated materials. Modern CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machining ensures high accuracy and repeatability, producing parts to exact specifications.
