Product Details

Aluminum rectangular bar, also known as “flat bar stock” or “bar stock”, is popular for all types of fabrication projects when light weight and corrosion resistance is needed. Rectangle bar is an extruded aluminum bar with square corners. The 6061 alloy is a harder, more machinable aluminum and is available in bars up to 3" thick. The 6063 alloy is a softer, more formable aluminum and is available in bars under 1/2" thick. Cut2Size Metals stocks many sizes of aluminum rectangle bar that you can buy online in ready-to-ship standard lengths, or you can order just what you need, with a custom cut length. Most orders ship on the same day in tailored, high-quality packaging so you can dive into your project.

  • Standard sizes & custom cuts: Stock rectangular bar is 12 ft. or 16 ft. depending on alloy and thickness. All can be custom-cut to any length.
  • Custom-cut tolerance: +/- 1/16". If you need a tighter tolerance, call us!
  • Volume discounts: Unit prices drop on most custom-cut products when you increase the quantities.
  • Save on shipping: Save money on shipping full-length flats with the "Cut in 1/2 to Ship" option.
