303 Stainless Steel

Type 303 is a versatile machining grade of stainless steel known for its exceptional ease of machining, grinding, and polishing. It is the most free-machining option available. 303 stainless steel offers oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures up to 1700°F and a melting point of 1400°F.

Weldability = Not recommended
Bending/Forming = Fair

304 Stainless Steel

Mill finish means that items come to us exactly as they are finished at the mill. All materials can have some surface scuffs and scratches and may have a dull or matte finish.
