Shipping Information

*Most UPS orders are processed and shipped within 1 business day. However, if your order absolutely, positively needs to ship the same business day, give us a call at (812) 429-1634 so we can expedite the order processing. Select orders may require additional processing time based on their size, cutting method, and quantity. Unlike typical online orders that are pre-boxed and ready to go, custom-cut metals are processed from mill sizes and custom-packaged per order. Cut2Size may divide the shipment into separate packages to ensure each item is properly secured and protected. We take exceptional care to ensure every order meets our customers' expectations for accuracy, quality, and secure packaging to arrive undamaged.

At this time Cut2Size Metals only ships to the United States.  Please keep in mind the following considerations:

1. Shipping charges and methods are determined by the final packed size, weight, and destination of an order (not by the metal piece itself).
2. Package lengths 6ft and over include an Extreme Length Fee by UPS. You can avoid this fee by selecting shorter lengths.
3. Package lengths over 9ft, finished box sizes over 48in x 48in and weights over 150lbs exceed UPS size limitations and must ship via LTL Truck Freight.

UPS Ground & Air

• Order by Noon Central Time, most orders shipped the same day.*
• Ground delivery (1-5 business days). Options available across the U.S.
• 2-Day, 3-Day and Next Day Air options are available.
• If you select 2-Day or Next Day Air we will priortize your order.
• Max length & weight limits of finished packages:
  • Max weight: 150lbs
  • Max length on long pieces: 108”
  • Max size of flat pieces: 48” x 48”
  • Anything over goes LTL freight

LTL Truck Freight

• Due to the size and weight of our products, some orders are shipped via LTL Freight.
• Freight carriers do not show up every day unless we schedule a pickup. Freight orders typically leave our building in 2-4 business days depending on how early the order was received. See Order Processing (above) for additional processing exceptions.*
• Transit times are typically 2-6 business days.
• Length & weight thresholds for shipments requiring freight: 
  • Weight over 150 lbs
  • Lengths over 108”
  • Flat pieces over 48”
• Delivery to business and residential locations. (If you can arrange shipment to a business address, your shipping will cost less.)

Personal Shipping Accounts

At this time, Cut2Size does not provide a checkout option for buyers to use their shipping account. Call for more details.

What Does "Cut in 1/2 to Ship" mean? Some of our customers like the ability to order full lengths of bar, angle, tube, or other extrusions, but are using smaller pieces and want them cut in half so that they will ship UPS (instead of freight). This can save money on shipping, as long as you can use smaller pieces. You will be able to select this option before adding your item to the shopping cart. If you check this box, please keep the following things in mind:

• We will cut the piece(s) ROUGHLY in half but do not guarantee the sizes when you choose this option.
• If you need exact sizes, use the "custom cut" option on each page.
